On my Sleeve is the first song that appears in the novel EXILE. Summer (narrator) hears Caleb (lead singer) performing it alone behind school. It's connected to a very personal plot point from the story, and Summer has to convince Caleb to share the song with the rest of their band, Dangerheart, and to find the confidence to play it live.

Author Kevin Emerson and his band mates in the Seattle band Northern Allies imagined how the characters from Exile would perform this song in the studio, based on the lyrics and descriptions in the book.
